About Us
Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited, briefly put MKCL, was formed by a joint initiative of Government of Maharashtra, India and ten leading Universities of the State to create new paradigm in education and development through universalization and integration of Information Technology in teaching, learning and educational management processes in particular and socio-economic transformative processes in general.
MKCL has trained and assessed more than 95 lakh youth with its flagship IT Literacy Course Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology (MS-CIT). A completely eLearning course with world-class content, MS-CIT has been able to establish a network of more than 5000 computer institutes.
About PFM (Basic) Course
The aim of the course is to educate learners on simple concepts of personal finance. This eLearning course covers in simple language topics such as income, taxation, expenditure, savings & investment avenues, borrowing, managing risk, budgeting etc. Learners would also learn about various financial institutions and in what ways they can benefit from these institutions. This course will help participants to become aware of different products through which they can meet their financial needs and finally educate them about the benefits of prudent financial behaviour.
Admission
Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) under its Knowledge Lit Skills Development Program is preparing learners for variety of emerging careers in local and global knowledge-centric economy and knowledge-based society. This program is implemented by MKCL through Authorized Learning Centers (ALCs). Learners can take admission for PFM (Basic) Course at any of the ALCs. Click here to find your nearest ALC.
