Objectives
MKCL wishes to engage eligible candidates to contribute as Apprentice in the role of Skill Development Catalyst as an integrated and institutional interface.
- To enable apprentices to gain practical exposure across marketing, business development, implementation support, data management and stakeholder coordination functions.
- To engage district-level catalysts who can strengthen MKCL’s offerings, skill development, and placement initiatives.
- To provide hands-on learning opportunities in learner support, industry engagement, coordination and related operational activities.
- To nurture young talent with communication, analytical, digital, marketing and operational skills.
Job Description
The Apprentice engaged as a Skill Development Catalyst may have opportunities to participate in and gain exposure to activities related to marketing, business development, project operations, learner support, and placement facilitation, subject to organizational requirements and work assignments.
Indicative Areas of Learning and Engagement:
- Promote MKCL offerings through institutional visits, community outreach, and awareness activities across schools, colleges, industries, companies and local communities.
- Identify, Collect and analyze data related to prospective learners and customers in local area.
- Coordinate with MKCL ALCs and Network Partners for implementation of marketing activities.
- Support business development, project operations, skill development, learner support, and placement activities.
Place of Posting
MKCL intends to recruit approximately 100 Apprentice who will work as Skill Development Catalyst in allocated district/area/region in Maharashtra.
Place of apprentice Posting will be at District Coordination Unit (DCU) at each district office of MKCL in state of Maharashtra.
Eligibility
- MKCL invites applications from candidates who have completed a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India.
- Candidates possessing post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have passed their qualifying degree (Graduation / Post-Graduation) in the year 2023/2024/2025 or appeared in the year 2026.
- Applicants must be 26 years of age or below as on 30 June 2026.
- Applicant should be proficient in English, Marathi and Hindi language, both spoken and written.
- Candidates who have passed their qualifying degree (Graduation / Post-Graduation) in 2022 or earlier will not be considered for the apprenticeship.

- Last date to apply online is Thursday, June 25, 2026, to 11:59 pm.
- Interested Candidate shall enter correct and verified email address and mobile number since all communications for the recruitment process will be done electronically via email and/ or mobile.
- Interested Candidate will be selected for apprenticeship through a structured multi-stage evaluation process.
- Interested Candidate are allowed to register on Online Portal only once and thereby create a single login. Multiple registrations will lead to disqualification.
Terms & Conditions for Online Application
- If any candidate is found indulging in any form of malpractice during the recruitment process, their candidature will be cancelled immediately.
- MKCL reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any applicant found to be in violation of MKCL’s rules, norms, or eligibility conditions at any stage of the recruitment process.
- MKCL reserves the right to modify, amend, or change the selection process, in whole or in part, as deemed necessary.
Online Application Fees
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs.350/- (inclusive of GST) at the time of submitting the application.
Selection Process
The selection process shall be a two-stage process consisting of
- Stage I - Online Test
- Stage II - Final Interview
Stage I: Online Test
- Candidates need to take an Online Test from secure location through MKCL’s Online Exam Framework.
- Candidates appearing for the Online Test are required to have a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 Mbps, along with a desktop or laptop computer that has a functional webcam and microphone.
- Candidates must remain alone in a quiet environment for the entire duration of the Online Test and must not communicate with anyone during the exam.
- The use of any reference materials or resources, including mobile phones, tablets, earphones/headphones, additional computer screens, or unauthorized software, is strictly prohibited during the Online Test.
- The mock test is available from Thursday, June 25, 2026 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026, until 11:00 am.
- The online test will be conducted on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
- Results of the Online Test will be declared on Friday, July 03, 2026.
- Online test duration: 30 minutes
- Total number of questions: 50
- Maximum marks for the Online Test: 50
- There shall be no negative marking.
- Each question will have multiple options, with one correct option.
- Each Question will carry 1 Mark.
- The candidate must secure a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the Online Test.
- The candidates must possess the skills listed below as the question paper will be based on the stated skills.
Stage I: Online Test-Syllabus
The Stage I - Online Test is intended to assess candidate’s abilities in areas like office productivity, digital literacy, communication, and basic understanding of AI tools. Below is the syllabus for the Online Test:
- Computer Skills: Computer operations and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
- Internet usage, online research and digital literacy.
- Basic understanding and use of AI Tools.
- Business letters and proposals drafting.
- Awareness of digital marketing and social media handling.
- Email communication and business documentation skills.
Stage II: Interview
Final Interview may be conducted tentatively between July 13 to July 24, 2026.
Final Interview will be conducted in Online mode via Microsoft Teams Application.
Apprenticeship Engagement Terms & Stipend
The association as Apprentice on full time basis as Skill Development Catalyst shall be for a period of two years from the date of joining. During the apprenticeship period, the apprentice will receive stipend as given below:

Reimbursement of Expenses
In addition to the above stipend,Apprentice will be paid the reimbursement of the following expenses subject to requisite supporting documents:
- Mobile and Internet: Upto Rs.750/- per month (inclusive of all applicable taxes)
- Daily Conveyance: Upto Rs. 250/- per day
Insurance
In addition to the above stipend, Apprentice will be entitled to the following insurance benefits:
- Medical Insurance Cover of Rs. 02 lakhs per annum.
- Accident Insurance Cover of Rs. 05 lakhs per annum.
Working Days & Hours
Normal working days are from Monday to Saturday and normal working hours are 09:30 am to 05:30 pm. All Sundays are weekly off days.
Leave Entitlements
- Annual Public Holidays: 10 days in each calendar year as per the holiday list issued by MKCL for each calendar year.
- Casual Leaves (CL): 08 Days of casual leave annually for the calendar year on a pro-rata basis as per the ‘Casual Leave’ policy of MKCL.
- Sick Leaves (SL): 08 Days of sick leave annually (subject to Medical Certificate) for the calendar year on a pro-rata basis.
